BIO:

My name is Tracy Cruz, I was born in New Jersey and moved to Georgia to go to Art School. I have been doing artwork since I was born but didn’t really think about it as part of my life until highschool. I consider my self an Anime/Cartoon Artist and enjoy and favor both marker and in digital media, though I am capable of many styles and media when expressing myself.

My art background includes a BFA in Animation and I also went through the master’s program for Game Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Although I mainly worked in 3d artwork while at school I took many classes and enjoyed 2d art. For 4 years I worked in a small print shop which helped me understand how to get my ideas onto paper and to make professional looking products out of my art and designs. The last 12 years I have worked for an advertising company doing AD like objects, catalogs, and various other media.

I believe artwork should be emotional, preferably fun and enjoyable. I love drawing, creating, and that feeling of having a finished piece of art and showing it to friends, family, and the world. I tend to favor specific subject matters not cause they are the only things I can draw, but because they are the ones that hold my interest the longest. If you love what you just created and some one else loves it then it adds to the emotion, but if you love what you spent all that time on and some one doesn’t like it, it doesn’t matter because YOU like it and that is what art is about.
